Ingredients
For the Pulled Chicken
2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
1 cup BBQ sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
Salt & pepper to taste
For Serving
Slider buns
Coleslaw (optional but highly recommended)
Pickle chips
Extra BBQ sauce for drizzling
Directions
Step 1 — Cook the Chicken
Place chicken into a slow cooker.
Add BBQ sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours until the chicken becomes tender and easy to shred.
Step 2 — Shred & Sauce
Remove chicken and shred with two forks.
Return shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir into the sauce until fully coated and flavorful.
Step 3 — Build the Sliders
Pile pulled chicken onto slider buns.
Top with coleslaw, pickle chips, and an extra drizzle of BBQ sauce if desired.
