Bogeys: Bangor's Beloved Restaurant Unveils New Name and Exciting Features |
Formerly Smoke and Steel BBQ, the establishment introduces fresh offerings under new ownership |
Bangor's cherished dining spot at 471 Stillwater Avenue has undergone a transformation, emerging as Bogeys with the inviting slogan "Eat, drink, play."
Since its inception on July 28, 2021, the venue, previously known as Smoke and Steel BBQ, has been a hub for classic southern cuisine and axe throwing. Now, under the stewardship of local entrepreneurs Katie and Bryan O'Leary and Dave and Cassandra Matson, the restaurant is embracing a new identity while preserving its beloved traditions.
The O'Learys bring extensive experience in the restaurant and bar industry, aiming to infuse the establishment with fresh energy and innovative offerings. Recognizing the community's affection for the existing BBQ and axe throwing experiences, these features will remain integral to Bogeys.
Patrons can look forward to several exciting additions:
State-of-the-Art Sports and Golf Simulators: Catering to both adults and children, these simulators offer a variety of games, making Bogeys a family-friendly destination suitable for sports teams and large gatherings.
Expanded Operating Hours: Now open seven days a week, Bogeys serves dinner nightly and introduces lunch specials, including a $5 smash burger, appealing to a broad range of tastes.
Live Entertainment: The venue is revitalizing its entertainment lineup with live music and events, such as trivia nights every Wednesday, enhancing the vibrant atmosphere.
With these enhancements, Bogeys is set to become a premier family-friendly sports entertainment restaurant and bar in Bangor, offering a dynamic blend of dining and recreational activities. |
