Furry Friend of the Week: Meet Rex!

A Loyal Companion Awaiting His Forever Home

Rex, a striking 4-year-old canine with a heart full of love, is eagerly waiting for his forever home at the Animal Orphanage in Old Town.

With boundless energy and a playful spirit, Rex thrives on outdoor adventures and cherishes every moment spent with his human companions.

Having been at the shelter for over nine months, he has become a favorite among the staff, known for his affectionate nature and eagerness to please.

Rex would flourish in a calm, structured environment where he can be the sole pet.

He responds best to a female owner who can provide patience, consistency, and routine.

While he has some medical needs, including thyroid management, the shelter staff is more than willing to guide potential adopters through his care requirements.

In December, Rex's story was featured in a prominent magazine, highlighting his journey and the love he has to offer.

If you're seeking a devoted companion who will reward your patience with unwavering loyalty and affection, Rex might be the perfect match.
