The establishment has created approximately 25 to 30 local jobs, marking the second Aroma Joe's to open in Bangor that year. Franchisee Bob Brennan expressed confidence in the demand for Aroma Joe's in the area, anticipating success for both locations.

 

**Salt North Taproom Debuts in Downtown Bangor**

 

June 2025 also saw the grand opening of Salt North Taproom at 16 Union Street. **Penobscot Valley Country Club Changes Ownership**

 

April 2025 marked a significant transition for the Penobscot Valley Country Club in Orono. The 101-year-old club was sold to the owners of the Lucerne Golf Club in Dedham. The new proprietors plan to maintain the 18-hole course and aim to restore it to its former glory, emphasizing the course's rich history and significance in the community.

In July 2024, Bangor approved a 55-unit dormitory-style housing development designed for individuals entering the regional workforce.
