November plans are beginning to fill the calendar, and a little advance notice can help neighbors make room for a community breakfast or a day of Maine-made shopping.

This early Penobscot Valley holiday preview highlights two dated November listings and invites readers to help build the next round.

These events fall after the October 27–November 2 newsletter week.

Hunters’ breakfast in Brewer

The Penobscot County Conservation Association’s dated event calendar lists its annual hunters’ breakfast for Saturday, November 14, 2026.

Serving hours are 4:30 to 9 a.m. at 570 North Main Street in Brewer.

Listed admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12.

The announced meal includes eggs cooked to order, breakfast meats, home fries, pancakes, French toast and other breakfast dishes.

Readers with questions about reservations or attendance should contact the association at 207-989-4709.

Maine Harvest Festival in Bangor

The Maine Harvest Festival returns to the Cross Insurance Center on Saturday and Sunday, November 21 and 22.

Doors are scheduled to open at 10 a.m. both days.

Admission and parking are listed as free.

The event brings together Maine farmers, food producers and makers, offering a November outing for people interested in locally made gifts and food.

Craft fairs and cookie swaps

If your school, club, library or community group is organizing a fair or cookie exchange, send the details for consideration in an upcoming update.

Include the town, venue address, date, opening and closing times, price and an organizer’s announcement.

For cookie swaps, include registration deadlines, how many cookies participants should bring and any ingredient-labeling requirements.

For community breakfasts, tell us whether nonhunters are welcome and whether advance tickets are needed.

Smaller gatherings across the Valley deserve space alongside the larger events.

The aim is a useful seasonal guide that grows as organizers confirm their plans.
