She wasn’t the only “1st female” JROTC cadet battalion commander class of 1975. Denver, CO at Manual HS — Allyn Schamber went on to Senior ROTC at the U of Colorado and then to Army active duty as a Quartermaster officer who retired as a LTC in 2014.
