Bangor, Maine, begins April with the region’s classic spring weather—a blend of cloudy, rainy, and breezy days as temperatures slowly climb.

This week brings notable shifts. Monday will start with light rain before sunshine warms the day to a mild 61°F. Cooler, wet conditions return on Tuesday, with highs dipping to 45°F, making for a damp and breezy feel.

As the week moves on, skies will stay mostly cloudy, with bouts of afternoon rain possible Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures swing between chilly lows near freezing and highs just below 50°F.

Friday could bring mixed precipitation, including late snow and rain. The weekend promises mostly overcast skies, with temperatures holding in the upper 40s and the chance of scattered afternoon showers Sunday.

April’s average in Bangor is about 50°F, with several rainy days and glimpses of sunshine—reminding residents to plan ahead for spring’s unpredictable moods.
